My name's Destiney. I'm just some chick who likes to draw and paint and take pictures. I'm not some self-proclaimed artist, but just someone who enjoys art. There isn't much more to say about myself, most is in my gallery.

Current Residence: Asheville/Fayetteville, NC.
Favourite genre of music: Classic rock, folk, trip hop, electronic dance music, industrial, anything trippy-ish :}
Favourite style of art: Just about everything <3
Operating System: Tea, ramen, and ice cream...not together though. xD

I'm starting to slowly build back confidence in myself and my skills.
I lost a lot of faith in myself my first year of college because I didn't have time to dedicate myself to my art like I had so vehemently my senior year with AP Studio. I felt as if my skills deteriorated. It also left me in a weird place about "where do I go from here?"
I was headed in a flavorful direction filled with mixed media with my AP stuff but all I had left was a sketchbook my freshman year here at UNCA.
However, now that I'm getting a lot of the basic courses out of the way, I get to enjoy being in more art classes.

I'm taking two art courses this semester and I'm pretty scared.
One is the second half of AMP (which I'm stoooked about because I have photography for my first rotation!) and the other is Life Drawing.
I know Life Drawing will be a challenge even though it's right down my alley.
The real issue I have is the work load.
Our fist two assignments are a total of 50 figure doodles. I don't even have anyone to draw seeing how my boyfriend is a good 4.5 hours away.
The supply list and textbook are also very expensive.
I'm uneasy but excited at the same time.
I guess I'll just have to wait and see what happens.
